TROY GRANTED TEMPORARY STAY OF EXECUTION!

Less than 2 hours before Troy was to die by lethal injection, the U.S. Supreme Court , the highest court in the United States, granted a stay of execution. They will be reviewing the petitions and will make their ruling early next week.

Terry spent the day with Troy as he prepared to die. Troy remained in good spirits. Unfortunately, cameras are not permitted on death row, but I can imagine what they would have recorded when Troy learned the news that his life was spared for another week.

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Then shall ye call upon Me, and ye shall go and pray unto Me and I will hearken unto you.
And ye shall seek Me and find Me when ye shall search for Me with all your heart.
And I will be found by you, saith the LORD, and I will return you from captivity..." -
Jeremiah 29:11-14fp

May the peace of God that passes all understanding guard Troy's heart and mind. I sincerely believe in his innocence and believe that in a modern sense the story of Peter in Acts 12 can be his.

"In the prime of my life must I go through the gates of death and be robbed of the rest of my years?"

"I will not again see the LORD, the LORD, in the land of the living; no longer will I look on mankind, or be with those who now dwell in this world.

"Like a shepherd's tent my house has been pulled down and taken from me. Like a weaver I have rolled up my life, and he has cut me off from the loom; day and night you made an end of me.

"I waited patiently till dawn, but like a lion he broke all my bones;
day and night you made an end of me.

"I cried like a swift or thrush,
I moaned like a mourning dove. My eyes grew weak as I looked to the heavens.

"I am troubled; O Lord, come to my aid!"

Isaiah 38: 10-14

Looking forward to hear his update. This monday my husband went to court to answer for false acusations (his own stepdaughter). The Lord is powerful, her own words show she was lying... I can't wait to get our results back. God is good and he is close to the inocent, he hates false witnesses... May the Lord bless you Troy, I'm praying for you... hoping that justice will be done in your case
